Burjeel Holdings Strengthens Healthcare Expansion in UAE and Saudi Arabia

The UAE-based "Burjeel Holdings" has confirmed the continued implementation of its medium-term investment plan, targeting an expenditure of 1 billion AED, equivalent to approximately 272 million dollars, to expand healthcare services in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The Group's CFO, Robin Joseph, stated in remarks published on Friday, November 6, 2026, that the plan is proceeding according to its objectives, despite a decline in capital expenditure allocated for growth during the first nine months of the year to 167 million AED, compared to 370 million during the same period in 2025.

The official attributed this decrease to an exceptional transaction that occurred the previous year, involving the purchase of the "Medeor" hospital building in Dubai, emphasizing that the 1 billion AED figure represents a medium-term plan, not a spending target for a single year.

Upcoming projects include a hospital under the "Burjeel" brand in Dubai Investments Park, another hospital with a capacity of 75 beds in Jebel Ali, in addition to the expansion of day-surgery centers within the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with openings planned during 2027.
