The Mohammed VI Investment Fund is entering a new phase of capital mobilization and national economic stimulation, aiming to attract 120 billion dirhams in investments over the next five years. Starting from an initial capital of 15 billion dirhams, this move seeks to boost productive investment, create job opportunities, and reduce economic disparities between the Kingdom's regions.
The fund's latest performance report, highlighted by press reports on Friday, November 6, 2026, revealed its commitment to mobilizing 7.2 billion dirhams from its own resources by the end of 2025, while contributing to the financing of 52 enterprises and supporting more than 15,000 jobs, as part of a strategy based on attracting private capital and directing it toward priority sectors.
Figures showed the mobilization of 18.7 billion dirhams within supported investment funds, including 14.4 billion dirhams from Moroccan and foreign investors, while investments directed to enterprises reached 3.9 billion dirhams, benefiting 27 companies.
The fund's interventions extended to ten out of the twelve regions of the Kingdom; however, the Casablanca-Rabat axis still accounts for about 58.5 percent of investments, placing the reduction of regional inequalities among the most prominent challenges ahead.
Its interventions also included the energy sector, through the acquisition of a 52 percent stake in the Tahaddart power plant, which has a production capacity of 400 megawatts, reflecting the importance of investing in strategic infrastructure.
The importance of these indicators lies not only in the volume of funds but in the fund's ability to transform financing into productive projects and sustainable job opportunities, especially for youth and small and medium-sized enterprises.
The biggest challenge remains transitioning from capital mobilization to achieving tangible economic and social impact, making investment a lever for balanced development and ensuring that various regions of the Kingdom benefit from growth opportunities.
