Emirates Group Records Profits Despite Challenges

The Emirates Group has reaffirmed its ability to consistently generate profits despite the challenges facing the global aviation sector, after announcing on Thursday a net profit of 3.6 billion AED during the first half of its 2026–2027 fiscal year, with revenues reaching 66.2 billion AED.

Despite these positive results, the Group recorded a 66% decline in net profit compared to the same period last year, driven by rising fuel costs and regional disruptions that impacted air traffic and airspace.

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, emphasized that the results reflect the Group's capacity to navigate exceptional circumstances, stressing the continued commitment to investing in service development and enhancing operational readiness.
