The Moroccan city of Casablanca is moving to cement its position in the specialized medical exhibitions sector through a partnership bringing together Index Conferences and Exhibitions—a subsidiary of the UAE-based Index Holding—and Morocco's Atelier Vita, aiming to develop specialized dental exhibitions and expand scientific and commercial cooperation between institutions and companies operating in this sector.
Imad Benjelloun, President of Atelier Vita Morocco, emphasized that this partnership represents a significant step forward in developing the specialized exhibition industry in Morocco and enhancing its presence at the African level. He noted that cooperation with the UAE's Index combines local expertise with international capabilities in exhibition organization, management, and marketing, thereby opening new horizons to attract global companies, experts, and specialists.
Benjelloun explained that the partnership holds special importance for the MOROCCO DENTAL EXPO, annually hosted at the International Exhibition Centre (ICEC) in Morocco. He stressed that the integration of both companies' expertise and organizational and marketing capabilities will contribute to enhancing the exhibition's stature, expanding its regional and international participation scope, and anchoring its presence among prominent specialized dental events across the African continent.
He added that the cooperation between Index and Atelier Vita Morocco represents an opportunity to build a specialized platform with a strong African and international footprint in the medical exhibitions sector, particularly dental exhibitions, drawing upon Index's international network of relations and Atelier Vita Morocco's local market expertise, professional network, and operational and logistical capabilities.
Benjelloun pointed out that the integration of both companies' capabilities enhances opportunities to attract manufacturers, suppliers, medical and professional institutions, and experts from various markets, thereby supporting the exchange of expertise and modern technologies and unlocking broader avenues for commercial cooperation and investment in the dental sector.
He underlined that the ambition of the two companies is not limited to developing a specialized exhibition alone, but extends to reinforcing their status among the leading platforms in the exhibition industry across Africa, with a focus on medical exhibitions which are witnessing continuous development in specialized fields, services, and modern technologies, thereby supporting Morocco's position as a destination for hosting international professional events.
He affirmed that the partnership merges international expertise in organizing, managing, and marketing exhibitions with specialized knowledge of the Moroccan market, providing vital pillars for developing medical events, expanding the participant and exhibitor base, and enhancing communication among various stakeholders operating in the sector.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of AEIDEC Dubai's participation as a guest of honor in the twenty-fourth edition of the International and African Dental Congress, organized by the Moroccan Association for the Prevention of Oral and Dental Diseases in the city of Marrakech.
The agreement was signed by Imad Benjelloun, President of Atelier Vita Morocco, and Tariq Abdel Salam Al Madani, Board Member and CEO of Exhibitions and Experiences at Index Holding, in the presence of Ambassador Professor Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of AEIDEC Dubai and the World Academy of Dentistry, and Roving Ambassador for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in the GCC region.
This partnership is expected to contribute to strengthening cooperation between medical exhibition organizing institutions in Morocco and the UAE, while expanding networking opportunities between companies, experts, and specialists, thus supporting the development of the specialized exhibition industry and boosting Morocco's presence on the map of African and international medical exhibitions.
