Arab Parliament Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia

The Arab Parliament condemned, on Friday, November 6, 2026, the Houthi group's launch of a ballistic missile toward the Medina region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to an attempted attack on the Mecca region using a drone, both of which the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen announced were intercepted and destroyed.

The Arab Parliament stated that these assaults constitute a grave threat to the Kingdom's security and a violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites, affirming its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for measures taken to protect its territory and population.

The Arab Parliament called upon the UN Security Council and the international community to take a firm stance to halt Houthi aggression and hold those responsible accountable, warning of the repercussions that the continuation of these attacks poses to regional security and stability.
