Dubai Continues to Welcome Hope Makers Nominees

The United Arab Emirates, through the "Hope Makers" initiative launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, continues to attract leading humanitarian and community initiatives in the Arab world. Applications and nominations remain open for the seventh edition of this initiative, which seeks to honor contributors and highlight inspiring experiences capable of driving positive transformation in communities.

The initiative, which launched its new edition on October 18, allows individuals, associations, and humanitarian institutions to submit their volunteer projects and programs. It also invites the public to nominate individuals who have made tangible contributions to serving others, aiming to discover human models worthy of celebration and appreciation.

The winner of the title receives a financial reward of one million UAE dirhams, in recognition of their efforts and to encourage them to expand their humanitarian project. Candidates undergo multiple stages of evaluation and screening before reaching the final stage hosted in the city of Dubai.

The initiative relies on assessing the actual impact of the nominated projects, their ability to address social, economic, and educational problems, and alleviating the suffering of the most needy groups, making humanitarian work a primary criterion for selecting the winning personalities.

"Hope Makers" operates under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives foundation, reflecting the UAE's strategic direction to support volunteer work, entrench the values of human solidarity, and bring individual and collective success stories to a wider audience within the Arab region and beyond.
