The "Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives" foundation, under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, announced the allocation of a new humanitarian funding package worth 150 million dirhams, aimed at executing urgent and sustainable relief, development, and education projects in several of the world's most needy communities. These allocations aim to address the growing challenges arising from the expansion of poverty and the repercussions of climate change that threaten the food and health security of millions of people in rural and marginalized areas.
The new projects will focus on building drinking water networks, rehabilitating and equipping primary healthcare centers, and providing school supplies and school meals to ensure children remain in classrooms. This step embodies the foundation's steadfast vision of transforming humanitarian action into long-term impact development projects that equip communities with the capacity for self-sufficiency and sustainable development, continuing the humanitarian leadership of the United Arab Emirates, whose programs have reached more than 100 countries and benefited hundreds of millions of people.
