The global economy is witnessing rapid developments that directly impact energy, stock, and currency markets, as oil prices continue to record losses for the second consecutive session, influenced by diplomatic de-escalation efforts to contain geopolitical risks in the Middle East. This follows a previous period of strong upward waves where Brent crude futures approached $85 per barrel.

Conversely, U.S. stock indices posted notable gains strongly supported by the technology and artificial intelligence sectors, with the S&P 500 closing up by 0.6% alongside gains for the Nasdaq. Meanwhile, European equities experienced a decline ranging between 0.3% and 0.5% due to pressures from the energy sector and negative earnings from several major corporations, while Asian stocks received a positive boost thanks to growing global demand for chips and semiconductors in Japan and China, with the Nikkei index rising by about 1.2%.

On the metals and currencies front, gold maintains its stability near $4,000 per ounce amid cautious anticipation of decisions by major central banks and the U.S. Federal Reserve's stance on current interest rates within the 5.25% to 5.50% range. This coincides with the dollar index moving in narrow ranges near the 102 points level while awaiting new economic data. In China, official data released today showed that industrial corporate profits recorded their fastest growth pace in three months, reaching 4.5% year-on-year, reflecting a gradual improvement in industrial activity despite ongoing global economic challenges.
