The WETEX exhibition in Dubai shapes the future of sustainability

Activities of the new edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition "WETEX 2026", organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority "DEWA" at the Dubai World Trade Centre, continue with the participation of more than 2,500 specialized companies and research institutions from 60 countries. The event features a comprehensive showcase of the latest global technologies in the fields of electricity generation from renewable energy sources, seawater desalination plants utilizing low-emission reverse osmosis technologies, giant battery energy storage systems, and AI-managed smart energy transmission grids.
The exhibition serves as an international platform for closing investment deals and signing memoranda of understanding between major global companies and government entities for the implementation of green infrastructure and carbon capture and storage projects. These initiatives are in line with the objectives of the United Arab Emirates' 2050 Strategic Net-Zero Initiative, with the event focusing on delivering engineering solutions and practices to reduce the operating costs of clean projects and stimulate public-private partnerships in the fields of environmental sustainability and scarce water resource management.
